Well, here's where Blackstock Ford President Jim Carson is right now...

...Air Design HQ in Mexico. He's working with 3M and Air Design on developing superior Paint Protection Film for the new Mustang. And with all the complex contours and edges on newer vehicles, this is no easy task.

Each coloured area is a different surface with curves and twists. They have to be converted to a flat surface and then evaluated for tension and sag.

Behind the scenes @ Blackstock Ford is they have great people working there , thank you to Joel R for patiently assisting me with a part search today . Friendly & enthusiastic guy who has his job description down pat ! Wish I was closer because I’d gladly do more business seeing as I do run 4 Fords in the household .

And if you ever decide to make the trip for a new vehicle, please let me know. I will make sure you get the Royal Treatment... (just in case our A/C breaks down :) )
