So had the line lock installed in the Cobra and was checking out a good place to mount the switch. I did some Googling and some guys have used a 94-00 fog light switch which fits into the useless coin holder slot. Love the idea just wondering if it's easy to hook up? I am not so good with electrical stuff...lol

This is the 94-00 fog light switch:

Here is the switch that comes with the SLP Kit:

Thanks,
Jeff

I love re-purposing OEM switches for stuff like this.
Two items for your consideration - I'm pretty sure the LL button is supposed to be momentary to prevent you from accidentally turning it on and forgetting to turn it off (happened to me in the burnout box - duhhh).
I recently wired in a Summit LL and found the factory switch didn't carry enough voltage to energize the solenoid. Regardless of switch selection, use a relay with battery voltage to ensure proper operation.

Exactly it makes for a nice clean install :)

The SLP line lock is on/off toggle not momentary - flip it on, pump brakes to build pressure, smoke tires and flip switch off which releases the brakes and roll out.

Was hoping I could somehow just plug the 2 wires into the fog light switch and be done...lol

Sure you can (pump brakes FIRST, then hit switch), just be mindful of the switch when it's activated!
I also found that blipping the throttle to build vacuum before pumping the brakes seems to help clamp the brakes, too.

Okay cool I'll try and pick a used one up from the wreckers and see if I can figure it out.

Easy as pie for you, switch is triggering ground side of the circuit.

You can always put another switch in that circuit so that momentary switch won't do anything when that other switch is off.

What knob style did you go with Jeff?

It's like the one pictured above Black ball with White lettering and White Ford Logo - 6 speed pattern with Reverse on the upper right.

They also have an option to add the momentary switch so chose that as well :)

As suggested, use the existing switch to turn the circuit off when your not using the LL. When your at the track (or quiet road in Mexico), turn the switch on to activate the system, trigger via the shifter mounted button.

Looking forward to it Rick, I'll follow your advise for sure like the idea of being able to turn off while not in track mode

Pretty trick setup using the coin holder delete. If you need a hand installing it, swing by the beach. The know is good, you could still use the fog light switch to turn the circuit on

Thanks Brian! Just received an email from them this morning and it could take 3-4 weeks to deliver.

I have a handful of switches here Jeff that I have used for various things. They are the low profile round rocker style switches if you are interested....
