As many of the 197 guys have experienced, very common for them to spit fluid on track days, some even do it on the street. Recently installed one of these on JT's Shelby, nice piece. When installing, be sure to clean the vent with brake cleans or similar. Also common for it to plug and cause pinion and or axle seal leak. My personal preference would be to eliminate the factory vent and go with a non pressurized version.

Post #805 for the install pics: http://www.gtamc.com/forum.php/showthread.php?106873-MY-GT500-MODS-and-OTHER-STUFF/page81&highlight=MY+GT500+MODS+AND+OTHER+STUFF

This is a great piece, spend the extra dough and get the Bob's design http://shop.bobsautosports.com/Mustang-axle-reservoir-KR-style-axle-reservoir.htm , the Shelby made one, seen here:http://www.shelbystore.com/product-p/8r3v-4022-kr1.htm is an embarrasment.
