Hi guys

Thought I'd post this for the heck of it. I posted a question about these a few weeks ago and no one seemed to know much about them so thought the N/A 3V guys might find this interesting.

Department of Boost is manufacturing intakes that marry up the gt500 blowers to 4.6 3v

Looking it over again, impressive, very impressive. Even cooler that it uses so many OEM Ford parts. Also gives you the option to grow via TVS or similar without buying an entire new kit.
If the quality matches the pics, home run.

I have been on their forum, checking every now and then. Haven't seen an installed one.. but there are a whole bunch of people on different forums wondering the same thing we are.

Would be a pretty popular modification... interesting for sure

If someone stepped up and the kits a home run, will sell strong.

yep, if it's up to snuff, this will be a hugely popular option.

I'd like to know if you could use it with one of the big GT500 whipples

If it accepts the stock blower, see no reason why not.
Maybe shoot the mfg an email, please let us know.

Interestingly enough I've seen this thread a dozen or so times but never looked too closely at it. Finally headed over to the forums on DOB and checked out the progress. Looks like there aiming for March 1st to have this kit up and running on the car. I must admit looks really good, definitely interested and will be keeping an eye on there website to possibly get in on there group buy.

After you put the blower on and then decide to sell the car, can I have first dibs? :D

Stock belt, for lower boost with good wrap, works well.
