Went to our local CT last night and they don't carry fabric dye at all. Any other suggestions? I may hit up Parry Sound Sewing centre tonight on my way home. If they don't have any not sure where else I could get some here in town.

There's a number of places here in Hamilton I know I could get it from.
If you come up dry, let me know. I'll FedEx it to ya.

,found some at the sewing centre, however the directions are for dying shirts, etc. the directions only state for this process, and the lady was unsure how I would mix and apply it to a car seat. Has anyone on here dyed their seats?

^^^Why don't you wait until you can get the proper stuff. Canadian Tire should be able to order it for you.

I just bought a can in black to do a pair of sun visors for my truck build. CT in Bowmanville had it on the shelf. Haven't tried using it yet so not sure what the out come will be, but they have it in stock.

Picked up two cans last night. Going to bring the bench into work this week and give it a whirl!

Haven't had a chance to use the booth here at work but hoping to spray the bench tomorrow or Wednesday. I'll post before and after photos SVO

Ok, let's see if I can get these to post in order! Used a spray bottle with a mix of water and some soap and lightly sprayed the seat while using a plastic bristled brush to lightly clean the fabric. Let it dry for half an hour or so and then started. I've done 5 light coats and it looks pretty good. You can still see a slight 'wine' colour showing but it's black for the most part. I may do one more coat tonight, maybe two.

this I took this morning in my crating room. Again, to my eye you can still see wine colour but in certain light it looks black. Should look good once it's all done and back in the car.

The product works good and dried pretty quick. Doesn't seem to come off when rubbed with some force. The fabrics itself does lose its 'plushness' and feels like in fact it has been sprayed with something but likely the most cost effective way to change interior colour quickly, if you're making minor changes as I am.
