Is the 08 GT500 steering wheel a good upgrade from the 06 GT premium.

I have a line on a used one. Good but not mint. Price is fair but won't bother if a so so upgrade.

What are the differences?

What are the differences?

GT500 Better(real) leather and it wraps the plastic spokes, red stitching, thumb pads, and I think a little more padding

GT premium, plastic spokes, fake leather wrap, feels hard as a rock in your hands
2597

Here's a better GT500 comparison

Oh, IC. I missed the GT500 part of your first post, so I thought they were basically the same.

So, in this case. I like the GT500 a lot more than the factory GT wheel and so I would go for it of the price it right.

One thing I really don't like about the regular GT wheels is that they are not too comfortable at "9-3". Many wheels are made with the drivers ed recommended "10-2" position in mind. The GT500 is a much better wheel for 9-3 driving (correct position at the track).

Al I ordered the 13 gt500 one for like 160 out of the states and its much nicer then the 07-09 wheel, there is some modification to get the buttons working but its very simple and I can help you if needed.
The other one that I think is nicer is the roush one, I know a bunch of people bought them for really cheap from performance improvements so if you could find one of those kicking around it would be a great option as well.

The 13's are a really nice wheel but I kind of wanted my year style just with upgraded padding and premium leather. The red stitching would work well with my red seats too. The used GT500 one I have a lead on has a couple of small but in sight blemishes and the leather has a bit of a shine to it in a couple areas. Starting think these little blemishes will be all I'll see if I get it.

Leaning to just getting exactly what I want done to my original wheel. Twice the price but it will be to my exact taste.

Diamond Upholstery in Aurora seems to be the place to go if you want top notch work. http://www.diamondtrim.com

You have the roush one? Post it up I'm sure someone would buy it in an instant. They are really nice looked and look much more sporty racecar with the thicker grips and thumb hole

That Roush wheel looks great. It's just not as comfortable at 9-3 as the GT500. Likely a low priority for most, but something I always look for. and the reason I want to get the 10th annie cobra wheel for my car.

Not asking for an install, but thinking of selling it.

Decided to pass on the used 08 GT500 SW I found. Had a couple marks and bit of wear in the pics. Will have to live with mine a little longer.

Oh hell, bring it to WNNOTC if you remember Stephen. Maybe I'll change my mind again...
