13/14 GT500
Non ported factory TVS
Assume 590/600 stock whp

I feel I have the right formula (parts combo) to make about 725 whp.

What do you think it would take to make 725 whp?

Issue is, on a typical hottish summer day it could fall closer to 560, only seeing closer to 600 on a low temp spring or fall pull. I'd think a pulley and tune will see 650 range in good weather and closer to 620 in real world summer temps n humidity. Add a set of long tubes and it'll jump closer to your target.
Worth noting, making big boost pulls on the road courses can and will make it a prick to keep cool.
I know the Cobra is even harder to keep cool n pull the 17lb pulley off n drop back to a very soft / low timing 13lb lapping tune.

I personally don't think that number is attainable without a new blower or a Shot, but if you lower you expectations to 700, you can get there with.

CJ Dual 65mm TB

A BIG Intake (JLT or the FR Cobra Jet One)

10% OD Balancer (or a 2.4 Pulley and Idler Combo)

...and a TUNE.

You'll need cooler plugs, new belt and maybe more fuel, I'm not sure what the 13/14 GT500 fuel system tap out at.

Full Stainless works exhaust, TVS @ 22 PSI, Big CAI, TB, Tune. Meth injection would do wonder with that setup. Maybe throw some Lethal custom cams in there just for the idle

OP goes way OVER 725 with those Lethal Cams and SW Headers and Exhaust, probably would be a tad over 750rwhp, may have an emissions issue with that Cam and Full Exhaust system though.

That said, OP asked how to get to 725, so I inferred there is some kind of budget, as if you have the dough and desire, a 900 rwhp GT500 is no big deal, all it takes is $$$, a mouse and some clicks.

Be interesting to know whether Boost-a-pumps or higher cap pumps, I recall some rebuild threads of big number cars blowing up.

No point in making big power and pushing tunes to the limit, if the car becomes a timebomb.

I've got a 2.4 and some 13 injectors to install, but won't turn the wick up that much on the tune, I'll probably see 680-690 at the tire.

well. Here is the combo, being installed and tuned in the next month or so.

VMP 2.4 blower pulley
VMP 90mm idler
Gates blue blower belt
Gates blue accessory drive belt
FRPP twin 65mm TB
JLT 127mm intake
ARH 1-7/8" LTs
ARH 3" catted h-pipe
3.73 gears
and a few other odds and ends.

car currenlty makes 630 rwhp at Steeda, 615 rwhp at DaSilva's (only engine performance enhancing mod is FRPP resonator delete)

after the above is installed, a safe tune will be done by Deigo

The future may hold L&M or Leathal cams, low vacuum bypass diaphragm, 1000 cc injectors and KB BAP

thank you, but no need for a BIG turbo on this ride, just buliding a fun toy, for multi use, cruise, drag and lapping days.

thanks Rick, its finally coming together. After these mods, the only other performance mod is cams and supporting mods. after that, maybe a SS hood and then just service parts, tires, brakes, clutches, etc.

Buddies 13 car went on the rollers at Lideos to the tune of 730whp

Mods are 2mm smaller upper pulley, 10 % lower overdrive pulley swap with innovators west pulley, Ford racing twin 65 mm throttle body, JLT Big Air CAI and custom SCT tune.

May I just be the voice of caution.
Be careful on whom you get to dyno tune this. Being this close on the edge.

Many won't stand behind you or their work. They Aren't properly insurance, and just aren't professional when it comes to accountability, or care for your investment like you do.
Ask the questions, what if it blows up? who will they blame? DO NOT leave your car unattended with them......ask me how I know this.

86 LX Coupe, Beefy Cobra IRS... Coil overs, lots of brakes and other suspension upgrades, cage, etc...

Ford Racing coyote + 20psi of boost and a $10,000 fine, tow, suspension for going 250 in a 100... :D

What's the consensus on meth injection, pre or post blower?
I thought it was supposed to be the greatest thing since BB turbos, but it doesn't seem like the GT500 kids are playing with it.

they likely dont understand what water/meth is all about...however

if they DO understand it & the benefits & arent using it...then theyve dropped the ball imo

Im using it...trust me...its da bomb!

Not intending to hi-jack the thread, but I know of advantages/disadvantages for pre-turbo applications.
I also think there are only advantages for a PD blower application, in theory.
Arboc could cool the charge and ensure better sealing, presumably without the meth falling out of suspension.

Either way you go about getting the power...i think you're gunna need more tire lol. that car will be a beast! i can't wait to see the next dyno sheets.

Oh and i vote for nitrous, lots and lots of nitrous.

holy fcuk. its not about "maximums"

no to a 4.x anything. A 2.8 or 3.2 KB, lower boost so its easier on the engine and make 750rwhp - perfect.

I'm just building a fun toy (cruise/road trip/road course/drag) that runs 0.001 seconds faster in the quarter than a ModFox ;)
