My body guy both knew this was coming in time. My rims were so back ordered that after 3 month i decided to take a silver pair for the fronts and an almost free discount and spray bomb them satin black to match the rears (actually painted all four). It was a cheap fix managed to get the car on the road. It started to flake this summer so I cranked up the power washer and blew all the loose stuff off. I will probably just spray them black again for the summer and have them powder coated over the winter. So I'm looking for idea's. Someone suggested keeping the spokes black and barrel silver, which I though was cool. I am looking for suggestions or idea's

Here are the current state of the rims after power washing them. and below the colour I'm thinking about changing them to.

I briefly though about PCing them orange with gold flake like the valve covers but I think it would be too loud for my tastes.

Dark Bronze on black looks good to me.

Anything but black.

+1 on anything but black.
Bronze is ultra cool, especially if you got with a bronzey / black kinda look.

I would use Plasti dip (with clear if you like shiny) on the wheels. Mine have lasted nicely and only came off because of the chrome peeling underneath.
The stuff goes on real nice with a very consistent finish. Needs many coats, gonna need 1 can per wheel if you do the backside as well.
Comes in quite a few colours incl the gun metal.

I think your car looks best with black wheels myself.

Cans are $20 ea or so here; $6 USD in Buffalo.

I have some 3M satin black here I will use for now. I'm not a plasti dip kinda guy. Just screams cheap to me (no offense) What ever the coating used on the wheels is killer.... it hard to sand!

Any other color besides black, silver, polished, chrome, gunmetal, even white, looks ricey imo, especially on a black coupe fox

Black Chrome! Had that on the Audi and it was awesome, loved the finish.

BTW: You live on fox street or something?

I'd go bronze or black chrome. The only problem with bronze is that when I see a black car with bronze wheels I instantly think tuner car and your car certainly isn't a tuner car.
