You forget how painful it is and until you want to do it again.

It just took me 6.5 hours to strip and polish one wheel and get halfway through stripping the second.

The GM clear coat is garbage and needed to come off. There was some oxidizing so I did 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 and then when at it with a DA polisher. Still want to run another coat on top but I don't have any more polishing pads kicking around so that will have to wait. The castings are no where near as nice at the CCWs which polish up like a mirror.

Stop polishing/modding your "tow rig" and worry about the fox, lol. Get over to the body shop and help them.

Just finished. That was e WORST car related project I have ever done. Took 17 hours and I still need to polish again on the car because tere are some bright spots.

Fucking never again. I will just spend the $1500 on a new set of wheels next time

They turned out great man, wonderful job!
I yeah have to give it to the people that have the drive and patience to polish metal parts like that. I tried it with a few small things on my car and i ended up passing them over to Jumpy to finish them for me.
