Thx Gents, appreciate the support. Off to buy some anti moan brake brackets and call Hagerty to start the claim, I believe they cover stupidity/ADD.
Thx Glenn, will call AAG shortly as well.

I'm surprised you're gonna claim that. If it were me, I'd just pop for it out of pocket and try to avoid a claim on my record. Only because insurance co's are all EVIL!!! EVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

Agreed with Armen. I would NOT go thru insurance for that.

Sorry to hear. Damage looks bad but it could have been a lot worse!

Maybe next round get a set of aerocatch hood pins like I have....you can't forget to lock them because they stick straight up when unlocked.

Nobody has asked the important question.......are you still going to make it track day?

Really sorry to see that happen to you Paul.

Thx for the advice and kind words as well as the info about insurance evils; guys. Looks like I can get a patch job for the interim so I can make track day. Then deal with the real repair over the winter.

Milke - I will likely take you up on the glass; cause I wanna have it put in asap, and it will need to be pulled again after for the repair, which will likely break it.
When can I come out to your place to get it?

Dave from Action Auto Glass 416 931-0111
Spoke on Tues morning, he was at the house at 3pm with the only new Fox Vert windshield in the city. Heavy, optically correct Chinese make, same as what he uses on the GT3 race cars he is constantly fixing.
I re and re'd the inner and outer windshield trim; he was here less than 45 min in total.
Under $ 300 all in. :)
Thx Glenn/ Big Bird for the referral.
