Our Annual Open House is organized to raise funds for The Sick Kids Foundation. If you live in southwestern Ontario, you probably know someone who has had to rely on this organization to provide special care to them or their children. This foundation has truly taken giant steps to preserve our future by focusing on the special needs of children with health concerns. Your donation could help provide a healthy organ to children who just need a chance to live normally and achieve their dreams! This show is completely dedicated to raising money for Sick Kids. 100% of money collected goes directly to the Hospital; we consider our time and operating costs as part of the donation and do not recuperate any of it.
Each year we try to improve on the last; in 2013 the show brought in over $20,000.00 and in 2014 over $27,000.00 and in 2015, we brought in over $36,500.00 thanks to the generous donations from our manufacturers, customers and associates. Another special thanks to our honoured guests: Rick Kopp and his Jet Truck “Pyro”, Al Tucci, Big Boys Burgers, Weslee Brinn (and his family), Zoo to you and the Pickering Fire Department to make sure our jet truck didn’t fry our neighbours!
Be sure to mark your calendars for Aug 28th this year, we will be looking to break our 2015 record and help this wonderful organization continue to save and enrich children’s lives.
