DaSilva Track Day - The recap...

A big thank you once again to Joe DaSilva and the crew from DaSilva racing for organizing this event. We couldn't have asked for a better day weather wise, as it was absolutely beautiful at the track today. A good turn out of new and returning drivers had a blast on the track. There were no major incidents, but there were a few "offs". All in all a great day, and to top it off, Joe D. Provided lunch for everyone in the tower.

Lunch was great, weather was great, could not ask for a better day. Thank you Joe for putting this together, and thanks to all the guys that kept things running so smooth with the sessions and the flags. :clap2:

May 19th was a GREAT DAY! Big shout out to Joe D and his staff that take time out of the shop, during the busiest time of the year to stage these Track Days!

Also to all the Volunteers that help out, TuLowd for helping me out with wheels and fuel and last but not least, there are few better things in life than getting your car fixed at the Race Track,
thanks to Rick and Ross for a simple solution to a big problem. My car ran the best it ever has @TMP. As always, great seeing fellow members and their rides and I had a chance to take a few
for a ride-a-long.


I brought two new guys with me on the 19th and they had a blast and will be back, thankfully, there was a good turn out at this event as attendance is the only thing that will keep Track Days happening.

Oh she was twisted. Had to adjust the hatch mounts to get it to close again at the end of the day. Noticed the twist when I was inside the back trying to wire down the latch lol


I think you should still be able to have the Sub, here the Steeda Brace I put in my FOX.

If it tucks tight to the back seats I may be able to still fit the sub in. You lose a lot of space by the taillights with a hatch

I remember seeing a pic of this car the first time you had it our at Mosport. The nose dive under braking was nuts, you were damn near lifting the rear wheels!!

with the torque arm it would come close every lap. that is what it is designed to do basically. his car, Ghost Riders, Rat Atk, Brad's green coupe, my old car ...

I don't know enough about instant center (IC) and anti squat (AS) to know exactly why it does what it does; but I do know that removing the bind from the upper control arms and fixing the pinion angle are definite bonuses.


The MM Torque-arm plants the rear tires much better during acceleration than the stock four-link design, and the Panhard bar locates the axle much more precisely. Your Mustang's overall performance will be greatly improved, with much better acceleration out of corners, along with improved handling, stability, better straight-line launching ability, and increased predictability.
I've got my right foot planted to the floor after the apex of the corner.
