Did anyone have success landing any tickets from the pre sale today? I was on right at 10 and have been shut out. If you were and have any extra I'd be happy to buy them. Looking for two! I hate ticketbastard.

It was sold out in minutes. I tried but no luck. I'm going to be trying again on Friday but not getting my hopes up.

I heard there are some on StubHub already for $1,500.

Yeah I saw lots for sale on stub hub. Ranging from $242 to $1500. Bullshit. I will be trying again Friday myself. Good luck Not4you!

I scored 2 for the Hamilton show. Lucky I guess. Now I have to get the day off[emoji51]

There is a pre-sale for the added shows tomorrow at 10am.

Way to go! I'll call dibs in case you can't swing the day off. Can't let the tickets go to waste!

Ya, I haven't seen them in a long time because ticket prices were too steep. I've always kicked myself for not seeing Nirvana before Kurt Cobain died so I can't miss this one. May never get the opportunity again. My wife was trying for Toronto tickets at the same time as me and she couldn't get squat.

I hate the way ticketmaster fucks over true fans for ridiculous profits. Total bullshit.

I just got an email from American Express Front of the Line for their pre-sale starting tomorrow morning. Those will go quickly too from my experience in the past but if you have any Amex card you can access the pre-sale.

The Tragically Hip

American Express® Cardmembers can purchase tickets* to The Tragically Hip before the general public between Tuesday, May 31 at 10am and Thursday, June 2 at 10pm.

Iconic Canadian band, The Tragically Hip have released the dates of their upcoming cross-Canada tour. The tour kicks off on July 22 in Victoria, BC before wrapping in Kingston, ON on August 20. Man Machine Poem, the group's 14th studio album, will be released on June 17. A portion of tour proceeds will be donated to the Sunnybrook Foundation.

Where's a good spot (sections) in the Toronto or Hamilton centres to get seats?

Heard tickets were on Stub Hub almost immediately.
What a sham Ticket Master owning Stub Hub and the obvious internal scalping that goes on. Don't know why it's illegal for some guy on the street to sell them to me at an inflated price, and this obvious cartel gets the legal blessings.
Only way to fix it is if the artists shut them out which is never going to happen.

Really sad it has come to this. I'm sure it's the last thing in the world the band wanted.

Truly disgusting. I'm just sad that these so called "businesses" treat their customers this way.

A friend got a pair to the Vancouver show so some did make it out there, but there is certainly something shady about this. so unfortunate.

Got two tickets to the third show in Toronto. Got them at 10:22 this morning. Nosebleeds but at this point I'm just happy to have em.

Anyone else have thoughts on the tour? Almost 24 hours after walking into the ACC for the concert my voice is still hoarse. Concert was unfuckingbelievable. I heard my two faves including Grace, too to close the show. What an emotional night. Best way I can describe it is 20,000 friends giving the band o e giant hug all night. Someone was cutting onions in my section during the encores....that's my story and I'm stick'n to it.

If you want merchandise plan to get there as early as you can. I was in toronto at 2 yesterday and they were already low on some sizes and the line ups were nuts

Alright! Thanks for the heads up! They were here already this afternoon but I'm at work, so no go today.

Going tonight, got a ticket at stub hub. Wife went with a friend on Friday. I was debating spending the cash for a resale but my wife said said "just go, you'll only regret it if you don't." Yeah, we are pretty supportive of each other when it comes to concert tickets.

Sat rear stage. Was amazing. Sound was great. Different perspective. Enjoyed these seat more then the 300's I had at the lonely end/side of the rink for Sundays show. I want more.....didn't want it to end. Long live the Hip!!

We were to the left of the stage, 2 sections back and 4 rows up. Fantastic seats. Sound was great and Gord was phenomenal. Just wished they had of played a few more oldies, but what that did play was awesome!

I would have been very close to you. I was in the first section just left of the stage, first row, near these two homeless looking dudes. Who can name them?

I think Mr. Downie looked remarkably well, considering all that he is going though. The energy was great, but I also missed hearing a few oldies such as "Bobcaygeon", "Blow at High Dough" and "New Orleans is Sinking". Hopefully tonight they will play them live on TV!

Anybody else watching the concert on the cbc? I'm not picking up Gord's mic very well. It sounds like the other mics are picking him up but not his. The rest of the band comes through on their mics. Just curious.

On my tv also. A bit here and there but I think he's just holding the mic far from his mouth.
