The past 7 days have been a banner week for the Liberals:
$12 Million wasted on consultants, $28 Million losing a lawsuit for a project that hasn't been built, yesterday we saw an $81 Million accounting error, and today we learned of another lawsuit loss to Northland Power that will cost the Government nearly $95 Million.

Whew not bad for one week.

To be fair, they didn't waste all that money THIS week. It was just reported this week.

I thought you were going to mention Trudeau's speech to a crowd of people that didn't care WTF he was saying.

"I will tell you, it is a little bit frustrating for me to come in, sit down and look forward to hearing from you and talking with you, and seeing a room full of people who are standing in a way that shows they are not listening to me, that you don't want to engage," he said.

He was actually heckled/boo'd by the selfie crowd I believe.

Just decided to pick this thread of many already started Liberal Bashing threads.

Vacationing on Fantasy Island was a pretty dumb move, but Justin's latest town hall meeting gaff is just moronic! Like so dumb it deserves a....

Trudeau was asked a question about the difficulties anglophones in the Eastern Townships have in getting mental health services. He responded in French, without translation, starting with: "We are in Quebec, so I will answer in French."

I heard about this on the radio the other night, but I didn't hear what the question was about. I thought it was stupid answering an english question in french, but not out of character for Justin. But today I read that the question asked was about the difficulties anglophones have being served in english at government health facilities. AND HE ANSWERS IN FRENCH?!?!? seriously WTF?

Like implementing carbon tax then taking a helicopter to your vacation destination?

Don't forget that when he was in peterborough he answered a question in french. So why do you have to only speak french in Quebec but when you are in canada you still have to speak french. Trudeau is an ignorant and arrogant prick.
he should be ashamed of himself for treating that lady who had a very serious question, like a second class citizen.

He's proven time, and time again that he doesn't care about regular Canadians. The best thing to happen would be for him to take a selfie in the middle the street, and get hit by a bus.

At the risk of getting flamed.... Trudeau finally does something right?

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has flatly rejected a controversial recommendation from a parliamentary committee calling for a five per cent tax on broadband internet services.
http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/web-streaming-tax-proposal-commons-committee-1.4161645

The committee's report suggested the proposal would add hundreds of millions of dollars in revenues to the Canadian Media Fund, which already receives a levy on cable bills to finance the production of Canadian content.
Is that like the Human Fund?

I suspect all the government spending is what is fueling the GDP growth. Glad I am out of the workforce in a few years when the bills come due.

On another note, see the Liberals okayed the sale of a Vancouver High Tech firm to the Chinese firm Hytera. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/liberals-waive-security-review-for-chinese-takeover-of-high-tech-firm/article35246673/
Probably will be blocked eventually by the US government, as Hytera has a law suit against it for stealing Motorola's technical secrets.:slap:

Plus the target company has US military supply contracts. It's not that they just ok'd it, they never reviewed it.

Hmmm, I wonder when was the last time a western country bought a security sensitive Chinese company? Just blue skying the idea...

Not too often - they usually copy patents and reverse engineer technology.
