Buying a used IRS is just the start of the money pit imo. When I priced it out... the bushing kit for the IRS from FTBR is about what a panhard/torque arm is worth.
+++ the wheel bearings/hubs/half shafts for an IRS these days are big $$$$$$$$
Cobra Motor and Trans are worth more than my car. Good to know.

I mean, not really? 10-11k plus 12.5k gets you in real Cobra territory. Esp for a 100k motor. Also I'm just suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper bitter that about 2 years in to owning my car a friend offered me a full 2003 Cobra drivetrain for 4k but because I was fresh out of University/fully engulphed in recession broke I couldn't do it.

Kenne bell, they told me they could give me the kit without injectors chip and boosta pump for 4900 plus shipping. That would bring me to the 6300-6500 CAD mark which isn’t that bad.
