What if you did a two tone, grey and black, grey and dark blue or grey and white.
Kinda like this

^Agreed. White was always my favourite colour for a 4-eye with the black trim, but on that car you just can't have it white with a grey engine bay-and I'm pretty sure you wouldnt even consider it, but please don't do it flat black.
The light grey looks damn good as well, but you run into engine bay matching issues also.
i'd vote red with gold wheels, for obvious reasons. lol
just go get the colour code for that vette in the first post and be done. That colour is AWESOME!
Green or white gets my vote :)
You guys are killing me lol. If I pull that motor to paint the engine bay, do you really think im going to drop the same junkyard motor back in. By the time this is done I'll be out 10k. The paint alone will likely be 6-7.
I bet I can paint the car white and make it look decent with the grey bay and accents. Then maybe when I pop this motor I'll paint the bay
How about a 2 tone from front to back?
Cyber grey with less flake...so you can keep your engine bay....but then fade to another color on the back half?
Honestly I was thinking cyber get hood stripe and splitter but good thoughts
Leave the car as it is until the motor needs to come out, keep saving your cash and get it done how you want it, then be done. White is always my choice when it comes to Mustangs, it's a classic colour that polishes up really well, plus it's very forgiving and quite easy to match if you ever need a touch up. The car is so badass right now that the paint needing "some work" as it is is irrelevant.
The white and gold is primo.
I think I'm going to hang up my photoshop keys. Nick's got it under control
