I found sitting that low less enjoyable than sitting a few rows higher. One year I was around that row on Saturday and was about 10 rows higher on Sunday. I preferred the higher Sunday location, and didn't have a headache at the end of the race.

The seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champions No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports team with driver Jimmie Johnson will have a new primary sponsor beginning next season. Lowe’s Companies Inc., which has been the No. 48 team’s only primary sponsor since 2001, will not return to Hendrick Motorsports in 2019.
He hasn’t been performing all that well as of late.
Except for Chase, Hendrick camp has been well off the pace.
In decisions like this about 0% is directly related to his performance on track. It will have everything to do with the direction of their marketing, budgets, brand health. With stores closing across the US it is difficult to justify the investment in top tier sponsorship especially when leveraging Jimmy has subsided in recent years. It has been a long time since the huge campaigns like Boom Confetti. It is entirely a business decision.
But fans are gonna fan so yeah, must be because he sucks now.
