First 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500 to Roll Off the Line Raises $1.1 Million for JDRF
The 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500 wearing the VIN 001 tag rolled off the production line and straight into the spotlight.
VIN 001 of the all-new Shelby GT500, produced at Michigan’s Flat Rock Assembly Plant, will join a lineup of other classic Mustangs on display at the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, Jan. 11-19.
Barrett-Jackson Chairman and CEO Craig Jackson purchased the vehicle last year and was on site at FRAP before the holidays as the vehicle made its way down the line. Jackson’s winning bid of $1.1 million raises important funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
