I use a small oil compressor from Canadian Tire now for about 8 years and does the job for light duty crap. As for impacting bolts or wheels I wouldn’t recommend it. I just use it to blow out leave from the gutter, grass from the mowers and water from the cracks and grille of my car. If I had to do it again definitely a bigger tank and higher CFM one would be a big plus and oiled of course is a must.
check out Kijiji and stuff, wheh it was time for me to up grade, scored a 2 hp 40 gallon unit barely used for 500 bucks
That’s a decent deal right there.
Decided on this one... way more than I wanted to spend.

Mavrrrick,
Lowe's is having a "stay up and save" event right now, ends at 5am. Save 20% on purchases over $150. Now would be the time to make the buy, for that compressor.
Crap.... buying it this morning
Think it’s scratch and save though. 15% to free.

Not sure who makes the Kobalt units, but it looks a lot like the CH. looks like a decent unit, should serve you well.
Edit: remove the stock air filter and replace with a Solberg, makes a noticeable difference in noise reduction.
I just got mine off amazon.
