When peeps ask me for an explanation of how it works, find an alarming number of the video's out there are actually wrong.
Takes me back to my apprentice years.. Good Show bro..
Explanation is more about shaft phasing vs figuring out if your angles are correct. While I agree phasing is just as important, does not apply to what most here will run into. Lost the vids n diagrams I'd book marked some time back when the puter was hit with a virus, will look after go karting to see if I can find em again.
The original video showed the vibration coming from the angles being different between the drive and driven components and indicated this vibration as a non constant speed even though the input rpm stayed the same.Quote:
