Help
So found two possible cars and the wife and a can’t decide. We had said we wanted a manual. If it’s small it has to be fun. But turns out mini JCW with a stick is super rare (Seems dumb)
And even the S isn’t easy to find. Given up on a club man. Can’t find one.
Two possable
One 2016 5 door cooper S
77000km. Light blue with black roof and mirrors. Pretty much loaded and has the manual. But it’s got a few small dings and scratches.
Other is a 2015 Cooper S. 45000km red and black
Also loaded including the JCW package (bumpers spoiler etc)
But it’s an auto.
Pretty much flawless no dents or dings to be seen.
The 15 is more money up front but has a better interest rate so payments are pretty much identical
So auto and wicked looking or plain looking and manual
-
Trust me the auto is a way better choice.

Just practicality or dependability? We live rural so running a clutch is city traffic will not be an everyday thing
-
For a 2016 i would say both practical and dependable.
-
thanks, my only real concern about the manual they said it need breaks all the way around which they are gonna do but it was in the show room so have not test driven it. if someone cooks the breaks in 70km one might assume the clutch might be needing the same
-
My Dad's 2013 minivan had 35,000 kms and brakes were done. So if his lasted to 70,000 kms?? Then again, he could have had a few brake jobs.

A guy on the Toronto Mini Club is selling this. Looks great. I think this maybe something to consider if you are looking for a Mini. It is a bigger vehicle than what you are looking for.
