Don't have to worry about that, my newest helmet has earmuffs built in so driving on track is a rather serene audio experience for me now. :)
My brother in law has Indy's on his boosted 05. No curvy experience but I can tell you they hooked hard when he launched in a straight line.
I didn't notice them being loud but that's because he runs long tubes, no cats and S type mufflers. He likes it loud!
I need mine to be quiet... I don't like loud noises!!
Street tires for next season
'05 will be on Firestones (275-40x18)
Cobra on new Nitto 555s (17" 275 / 315 combo)
I put a set of 4S' on the Corvette last summer. They screamed like crazy the first couple times at the track, but got quieter after that. They don't do anything that great, but for the fact I can drive them on the street in a torrential downpour, and then on a dry track, they hold up pretty well. However, I preferred the factory run flat pilot sports.
Lol
U like it quiet :) ??
Over 8000 rpm redine flat plane crank there is nothing quiet only heavenly sounds that only a few have the privilege to hear ( insert sound of music lady singing from mountain here) lol
