#@$#@$*^%@ Fox lol
Last night I put the thing back together (new flywheel and clutch) and at the same time, I figured I'd put a new rear main seal since I thought the 4 year old seal was leaking due to poor installation or something. Anyway I installed a new FelPro seal... I noticed oil seemed to be coming out of the "freeze" plug where the cam is? Or one of the 1/4" drain plugs near it. It was too messy to really tell. I don't think it's the intake either. Just frustrating because part of me wants to rip out the T5 and flywheel again to have a better look. I know it's just a few hours of work but... I'm too old do this twice in the same week lol
Anyway, just frustrated because it does drip badly. I think my car needs a few tampons for the road trip.

Rear of intake is pretty common.

Lol I like your title - I haven't come to that yet with mine!

As is the PCV grommet. On fresh installs, we wipe intake plus grommet with brake cleans then skim of silicone on the outter edge to securely seal / retain it to the intake.

I wipe the entire back of the engine from the top with my hand and I don't even get a spec of dust. I think the $60 chrome chinese oil pan isn't formed correctly near the rear main and oil is leaking. I used a one piece gasket too. But I got the proper FORD OE oil pan in stock and just waiting for the fall to pull the engine out to replace the stupid chinese shit, what was I thinking!?

Chrome knock off pans and leaks go hand in hand.

yeah I have no clue why I had such a brain fart...

LOL I've replaced all the chinese parts now except for the oil pan... That's happening this fall.
