Cool read, always wondered why box looked like it was off another make or model.

Too funny, they never loaded one up to check for the body flexing.

That's a good article. Interesting they took their time redesigning. I guess at the time pickups were more utilitarian so buyers weren't overly fussed by the odd looks.
