Ok, Ok, new Mustangs are NOT more expensive than in the olden' days. "Expensive" is just an opinion.
:stickpoke: so when are you getting a new GT350, Brad?
It's not that expensive for what you get.
I think it’s expensive ( to me)
I couldn’t afford one now at these prices so in hindsight I’m glad I bought when I did, even though I still debate trading for a new one.

Sticker on my 14 Premium Track Pack GT was $45,000. Same equipped car is like $58,000 one year later. Is there a little more to the 550? Sure, but not that much more. Pricing is out to lunch on ALL cars these days. I wouldn’t have even paid $45k for my car. Got it for just under $36k.
Look at the price for an 04 Focus and an 04 Cobra. Then look at today’s Focus and GT350. Focus has barely gone up yet the “Cobra” is like $30k over inflated.

^^^ I’m not sure where you got that 58K figure from for a 2015 GT Premium with the Performance Package...
A 2019 GT Premium with the Performance Pack currently lists for $47,385, including freight, but before taxes and negotiation.
50+ yrs. in production is pretty enviable/impressive, and one of the only cars Ford says they'll continue to build. We'll see what the next gen platform brings....and who it targets.
As for buying a newer Mustang, if it's something you like, and it's not going to tie a rope around your neck financially, why wouldn't you go get one? Life is far to short not to enjoy some fruits of your labour.....IMO.
I like the fruits getting tired of the labour part lol
I’ll buy another mustang, may not be new so won’t reflect in sales stats .
