Gesi Cats came in today...
I can't believe how heavy they are.
The DECH will be ultra clean out the back and hopefully won't need to replace them for years and years.

So no updates??? (likely meant he put air in the tires).
Alright... pics of what we did the past two days on the DECH.

So, a refresher. I havn't been driving it at all since it came out of storage. I think I maybe did 300kms on it this year.
I had a wicked noise on cold start... sounded like the chain hitting the timing cover...
Well... it was. As you can see in the photo below, chain was loose as a goose.
The 'black' thing in the photo is the Tensioner. That one is made of plastic. That was ford's "new and improved" design... :choke:
Anyways, new IRON tensioners put into place and the chain is as tight as it needs to be now! (picture 2)

Forgot to take during photo's... going too quickly to get done to remember to take more pics...
Anyways... here's what we did.
New Valve covers Hydrodipped CF
RePainted the Front Cover and a bunch of bolts
Regasket'd front cover, valve covers, upper plem, Throttle body, EGR, header MLS gaskets.
New BBK Ceramic Longtube Headers
New to me Accufab Upper Plem painted grey hammer
Cleaned up some more wiring
ARP Crank Bolt
New EGR Sensors (had a running problem just off idle sometimes)
Super super super super super super super happy with how it turned out.
I was worried the CF would be too over the top... but it fits in really well. Updates the car under the hood.
