Tossing around the idea of building a built motor for the 96. Local or south of the border to have a short block built?
Purpose will be street, with the ability to handle some track days as well. ...
Take they in and have them clearcoated with some tint...make them like black chrome....
Damn!!! Looks great. Nice job Scrape
Damn you’re good....polished the Cobra right out of the paint.
Yep, clean, sand smooth and paint satin black
I will hit you up before the end of the month for my car once it’s out of storage
Put a set in the truck and urban assault vehicle. Love them
Hell of a car for about a 1/3 of what it cost to build.....
I would build gradually, start by getting the car setup and running straight consistent times in the 10’s or 11’s. Unless you have deep pockets and can build the car quickly (before your patience...
Might be worth picking up and figuring out what was there....

what was the specifics of the wheels and tires? were they 5.5 backspace as is normal on an SN95? and which brand of tire?
I had 315’s on a 10.5 cobra replica...I removed the quads and didn’t have to roll the fender, and the car is lowered on steeda sport springs....96 GT
Don’t have those wheels anymore, or the...
with a 10.5 and a 315 rear tire, you will need to remove the quad shocks on the older SN95's...which means you will need to upgrade the control arms....well atleast that's what I told my wife at the...
The hurst I had in my 83 and my 91 didn’t have ribs on it like that. That shifter is very reminiscent of the stock looking T5 shifter.
I don’t want to sound like an ass, but are you sure you know what is installed in the car? Or just going off what someone has told you? It’s going to be awfully hard to help you diagnose anything...
Is the MAF calibrated to the injectors? And have you confirmed the firing order is correct?
Good to know, will try that out.
Yes I followed up with the V38 and a black pad. Forgot to mention that. I was given a trial pack of V32,34,36 and 38. Was pretty easy to work with, I only ran the polisher at 4.5 as I found any...
I would be looking to keep it around the 5k mark...and I am being realistic in realizing that this number may not be accurate....
So I am considering piecing together a kit to install next spring once I get the car back from storage. I don't know much about the turbo game other then a little bit of research here and there. ...
Was given some of the chemical guys V series cutting and finishing polishes. Thought I would try it out at the shop today. Washed entire truck, clayed the tailgate, washed the tailgate again, then...
