Any negatives to using permatex "The Right Stuff" for that same job?
going to give it a try...thanks
Never new there was sealant on the spline. If thats the case and specific sealant to use to reseal?
Doing some maintenance on the Cobra today, noticed oil had been flinging off of the pinion flange when driving last summer. Housing around the pinion flange is bone dry. Removed the drive shaft to...
I heard probably 2024. Also heard they might go out with a bang and drop the LT5 in the ZL1 1LE
That's crazy oil capacity for a 5.0 engine, I had no idea. My 8.0 Viper V10 only takes 8 quarts and its oil pan is huge
Regular rear gear slop is magnified when the diff is mounted solid as well.
To my knowledge the factory pistons were never Manley, just the rods. The pistons were made by Zolner or something like that. Either way solid engines no doubt
I blame David Suzuki
Says 378kms of range. Left out the fine print...70 degs ambient temp, no wind, level road, no A/C running and 80km/h fixed speed!
Is your car stock bottom end? Looking forward to seeing the install
Nevermind...missed the engine details
Had the Stealth out a few times. Still have maintenance to do on the others
FTBR kit is worth it on these cars. PITA install but worth it. I think I was one of the first to buy one in Canada. All this pinion angle talk brought back memories
Similar money to a ZL1, I would take it over the mustang
Wow 04 Cobra and GT350R are close to the same weight only the Cobra is packing iron block and a supercharger.
The only good thing about the 5.2L in the GT350 is the sound.
Thats a start, but would like to get this done over the winter which will require someone to come on site
Need some spots repaired on the Stealth, someone that can come to my house in Erin area and do the repairs in my heated garage. Help me find the right person who takes pride in this line of work.
Like Rick said...you want torque not HP. Be prepared to be disappointed if you spend money on a procharger kit. I had an 02 GT before my Cobra that I put an intercooled Novi 2000 kit on. Badass...
Which type of blower you plan on doing? If I still had my 02 GT it would have to be a positive displacement blower like the Kenne Bell kit for the edge cars.
Losing both parents at 59 and 60 years of age, and all the countless people that seem to get cancer out of nowhere, I now live for today cause tomorrow may never come. Enjoy your time now! Like...
I'm praying that GM will stick the LT5 from the ZR1 into the Camaro ZL1 1LE and destroy all on the street and track
Thinking the new vette is the better car
If you are referring to the one near Flamborough, than yes it does.
I get all that, so doesn't the VII's breakdown process take a long time with all these high end synthetics? Where does the issue come from? lack of oil changes?
