It seems like this was a change in the gen 3 coyote (18 MY+) cars and trucks. Hard to believe that with all the engineers on staff no one thought that this was a bad idea.

You may want to check out some of the spray on ceramic from feynlab. Won’t have the same durability as a traditional multi year ceramic but for a spray on I have been told by some in the business...

Really can’t go wrong with Borla on a Mustang. Always one of my top choices. They are pricier but excellent quality and quality sound IMO.
