Lou helped me track down some much needed fluid for the V3 Blower that seems to be rare as hens teeth these days. Super fast response, pain free transaction and quick delivery. Awesome vendor...
Ah well, thats a horse of a different colour now isnt it.
Sounds like you got good money for yours.
Tork Tech kit has always intrigued me.
"What's that honey, you want me to sell the Mustang so you can get a new kitchen? Of course, I'll list it on kijiji today!"
That wheel fitment make baby jesus cry.
So bolted the assembly right to the frame with a rivnut, nothing. Flap wheeled the area it contacted as well as the bracket horns ground to and bam have horns. And they LOUD. Seems like these things...
It is. I'm absolutely missing a bracket.
Gonna have to try it. My generic ATF fluid is several seasons old.
The 75W stuff?
It looks like I'm missing a bracket. From what I can tell there should be a a metal V bracket bolted to frame horns, and the horn assembly bolted to that.
Was poking around on the Amsoil site today, noticed the recommended fluid they list for the 04 Cobra T56 is "Signature Series Multi-Vehicle Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid"
Wondering if...
Anyone have any pictures of where the factory horns mount in these cars? Trying to get horns to work again in this car, ever since they were "relocated" for the meth pump they haven't worked....
Looks like Ray Charles welded those with his feet in the middle of an earthquake.....
Negative. No return spring. Also at the adjustment shown above there isn't really any slack in the cable. I'd classify it a taut but not really under tension.
Kinda hard to nail that down sir, everyones definition of "excessive" varies. It's gonna be more drone that ya have now but I don't think it's gonna be enough to ruin the feeling you get when you...
Will do, can't wait to try it out. Oh BTW
Previously ran. Now have 40s only because they come with the bigger cat back. Given the choice between the two based on sound alone I choose 44s.
Go with 44's. You won't be disappointed.
I noticed that when I held it up next to the FRPP piece (should taken a pic, I never think to when I'm working on the car). Much stubbier with a more circular slope vs the FRPP is long with a more...
Oh. Gotcha, not knurled adjustment head to firewall clearance, but adjustment head to plastic cable head clearance. Thanks sir.
Hmmm. Assuming you mean only enough threaded out to allow for the edge of a toonie? Looks like I'll have to double check my routing I guess. It had to come out much more than that to even pick up the...
This purchase was entirely based on your recommendation lol. Gonna take some getting used to this clutch feel.
Also per our convo about paying the wrong people to do work, the Ford Racing...
Well, full MM clutch cable/quadrant/adjuster is in the Vert. Can't say if it fixed the issue because there is no way on gods green and blue earth im driving it right now, but it definitely made the...
