luv the dyno idea
even if car loses 10% torque and mileage
if they give $5500 that buys a lot of fuel
for $1000 to $2000 think you can receipt engine and DSG tranny to make more torque
Lexus is very close to BMW/Mercedes as far as price, they are direct competitors, Lexus is not a step down from them. The IS isn't based on any Toyota as far as I know, unless maybe a model in Japan, so not sure how they would use Toyota brakes, the only ones that would may be the older es, since they're a Lexus Camry. We actually had a 2014 in for service a few months back and the brakes were massive, not really off-the-shelf Toyota stuff, although still likely cheaper than the Germans, but not by much.
