    What's it worth - 2009 GT500 Vista Blue

What do you think the market value is for a 2009 GT500, it has just over 3,000 km, no damage, garage kept.

I need to get a bit more info on it, options and service. Although I really don't think the available options affect the price much.

To be a reliable/comfortable driver the clutch needs to be upgraded and I think that needs to be factored into the price.

Sounds like a nice car, 07-09s are the lowest production numbers, by far, but Vista Blue is a High Production Colour and 07-09s are less Powerful and less refined than later GT500s.

Value: 32-35K (Depending on options, especially the expensive one, Factory Navigation, the original Car cover is over $500 to buy, so if the seller has it, that's a bonus.

...and the car may not need the Clutch TSB, depending on it's production date. SHELBY GT500 TSB 09-9-2 http://www.stangpit.com/wp-content/i...b/09-09-02.pdf

Regrettably, if it needs the TSB, it may be difficult (not impossible), to get Ford to pay for it now, as it is out of warranty.
The tires on the car will be old and useless now too, so factor that cost into your offer.

Thanks, that's a very detailed reply!!

A friend is looking at it, it's a very clean looking local car. I doubt it has enough km's on it to even know if it would need the TSB done. I've never owned a 07-09 but I feel that the 2010-2012 clutch (or a McLeod) is pretty much a must have, to make the car more driver friendly.

I suggested that he contact the seller and inquire about the clutch, options, and servicing.

There will also an Air Bag recall on that car, see if it has been done.
As for the clutch, I recommend the FORD OEM 2013-14 Spec clutch for any GT500.
It is larger and stronger to accommodate the factory power bump to 662HP in 2013-14 and is German Made by ZF-Sachs, to a very high standard.
