Where to buy a new battery and which one?

Looking to buy a new battery for my 95 GT I'm looking for something good quality that won't break the bank. Where shouldn't look and which brands do you recommend?

Anything made by Johnson Controls. Take your pick.

I've been getting Insterstates lately. Local garage here carries them.

I put Kirkland in mine...No hassle from Costco if there is an issue.

I have an Optima red top in the Cobra.
I did not buy it so I cant tell you how old it is but I can say this.
In Dec 2009 we bought the car after it was burnt up in a fire. 4 years later we had the car on the road battery had been charged and stored.
4 years later still same battery. It stays in the car with kill switch off and on a tender.
I suspect when I get the car out this year 9 years after the fire it will fire right up.
    I think that says somthing.
    Still has a melted handle.

I'd buy where warranty is the least hassle, Costco.
In my own car, went with a Ford Battery, just cause of looks.
