    Yes, and that's the problem. If I was to cut a hole in the cab floor and reach down 6 inches, I don't think I can loosen the thread portion if there is any of it sticking out. If there is, maybe welding a nut on it might do it...but that sounds like a summer project. So I think it will be my redneck repair for now.

    Redneck repair would use that brake pad that Don posted or some sort of metal lying around. An Engineer would use epoxy and duct tape. LOL

    Soak it for a week or two with penetrating fluid, then drill and ez out, or just drill it out entirely. Welding a nut could work as well if you got access.
