Just got back from picking up my snows from Joy City Tire, as per the norm, stellar service at an extremely fair price. Thanks again to Scott and his crew.

That's one of the few things I hate about the newer Ram Hemis, the damn oil filter location.

Yea they could have done a ton better on that.
So far tried two different approaches to removing without a mess, not working out just yet.

Best I've found is to use the bottom 2" of a washer fluid jug, rest it on the rack when removing filter, pull it out straightand install new.

Great idea, on my list for next time. Also considering a remote filter.

Seeing more than one come in where the filter has either never / been almost forever since it was changed in spite of owners insisting they've paid to have it done. By the look of my own, can guarantee it was one of em, filter was clearly as old as the truck.

Can't be any worse compared to the location on my old 4.7 Dakota. I ended up having to use a 2L pop bottle cut high enough to fit over the filter. Break the filter loose first, place pop bottle over filter and unscrew filter and pop bottle together. This caught all the oil and not a drop fell.
