Detailed. 2017 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 Limited.

We were up in Fergus to detail a new Toyota Tacoma 4X4 Limited on the weekend. The vehicle was only 2 weeks old and I asked the owner NOT TO WASH the vehicle to ensure no swirls or scratches to minimize paint correction time. After careful inspection the paint was in excellent shape with minimal correction needed. The vehicle received 3 stages of wash/clay, paint correction and topped with a ceramic coating. And now for the pictures.

    Looks great.

Any insight on what products you used for this job?

Meguiar's D151 Cream for paint correction and CQuartz UK to seal it off and thank you for the compliment.

I only ask because folks at work are after me to start detailing rides because mine are always pristine. (Helps when I have a massive bay at work and work 12hr shifts, sometimes with nothing much to do, and I just bought a new PC DA.)

So it's ready for some off-road 4x4 action now.

That is awesome. Many factors come into play when choosing the right products to correct the paint. Paint hardness, clear coat or no clear coat, type of paint are some critical factors before attempting any correction. Products like Meguiars M105 (Compound), M205 (Polish) are usually the goto products but there are other products out there as well that are quite good. Other considerations before correcting a paint job is the pads used for the job along with the speed setting used to correct the paint.
