Please help new to forum! 03 Mach 1 No Communication via PCM/ECU

Hi all, I own a 2003 Mach 1 and I’m having an issue where car turns over but won’t start. No reading in my kms just - - - - - - - - (dashes) and theft light flashes. I’ve tried everything I could so I had car towed to dealership for keys to be reprogrammed but they said it couldn’t be done as there is no communication to ECU/PCM. Ford doesn’t supply new computers for this car (smh) anyway I’m trying to see if anyone has had similar issue with this. Thanks

    Look for blown fuse first.

Assume you've also tried your spare key?
Second most common issue, code reader in the column itself goes bad.

I’ve checked fuses, and tried both keys, dealership says computer needs replacement. They can’t get them, I’ve found some but it’s like $550 and I really hope it repairs this problem. I’m already in the hole to dealership and having to tow it twice now...

Was there an issue that led up to this happening?
Is the car tuned? (SCT or otherwise)

Back in 2004 I put 4:10 gears and an sct XCalibrator was used to set gear ratio

Basically I started the car it ran for 1-2 mins shut down and hasn’t started again. Just turns over, fuel pump doesn’t come on as I assume computer isn’t sending power to it.

Do you have power to any of the sensors?

Sorry to come back to fuses, did you check all the Maxi fuses under the hood as well (always suggest testing via test light vs meter)? No communication could also be ECM fuse blown, just had a Cobra in with similar symptoms that turned out to have a dead short.
