    Camaro ZL1 1LE

I went for a short ride in one of these at Sema. This car is flat out amazing. Anyone else have opinions on this car?

Aside from the outward visibility and interior being terrible, it sounds like a sick ride.

I like it but I’d rather have the regular ZL1. The extra aero on the 1LE is a bit much for my tastes.

    The car is a beast!

I’m not a fan of the tuner style rear wing and even the front is a little busy for me but alllll that stuff is functioning on that car making it a track animal.

Here’s a couple stats from my Car and Driver mag:
376cu supercharged and intercooled 16 valve alum block and heads making 650hp/650tq
    Curb weight 3842lbs
    1/4 mile 11.7 @124mph
    305-30-19 fronts
    325-30-19 rears

This thing turned a lap time at Nurburgring in 7:16secs making it more than 20secs quicker that the Z/28 and 13secs quicker than the new auto ZL1. The fast time put it well up there on the list with the big boys costing much more $.

In person the aero bits are sweet, all business. Reminds me of a Viper Acr. Pictures make it appear a bit awkward but in person you stand there looking at it in awe. Damn I want one.

For me, needed to take a few minutes to get beyond the extra bits outside, love it.

Sweet ride indeed but the aero bits are for those who will track the car. I for one won't so a regular ZL1 is my choice.
