I was thinking the same. But I guess it's to save weight on the door, and save on the door swing radius especially when parked in a parking lot or on the street.

Forget about the stupid French door. Give me a sliding bed....that makes it easier to load and unload. Want it fancy, make it hydraulic or electric....

I was never a fan of the humongous grille on Dodge Rams, but it was distinctive. The picture above could just as easily be a Chevy or GMC. So much for brand identity.

The swing out tailgate seems like a good idea, even if copied from other manufacturers and class of vehicles.

Definitely looks like a chevy, the current ram front end is just bad ass.. why make it look like every other truck?
