    Gas prices

OK. This is starting to get ridiculous.
Today gas is going up to $1.25.9/litre. I was speaking to a friend who is visiting her son in Florida this week.
When I was there last January, local prices ranged from $2.20/gallon to $2.40/gallon. Another 15 -20 cents for 91 Octane.
Today, my friend says prices are exactly the same. Our costs are up 20% or more, theirs has not moved.

$2.39 /gallon, allowing for a smaller gallon and today's exchange rate on the dollar, equals 78.6 cents per litre.

    At 2.20 that's 72.3c/l.

    I've heard as low as $1.89 (62.c/l)

Just a big shoutout to Ms. Wynne and Mr Trudeau. Thank you so much for your "Carbon Tax"

Oh. And just in time for the coldest winter in decades, my fuel oil bill has gone from $.98/l last year to $1.25. Thanks so much.

    starting to?
    is this a new thread?
this thread has been a topic for over 10 years now.

Everybody lost their shit when gas stations started installing new signs to display "1.XX" instead of "XX.X".
Now, people line up around the block if fuel hits a buck ten.

In June when in Texas gas was $1.97 / gal for regular.
At that time I think it was $1.05 a litre here

I am in Moncton NB, and gas is as low as 114.8/ l at discount station. I think Montreal was cheaper than Toronto when I went through yesterday.
If its the carbon tax, Hope everyone remembers who to pin this on at election time.
