    Camshaft selection

Time to beat a dead horse. I am in the middle of gathering parts for a mild build of my 95. The plan is to install my newly acquired Kenne Bell blowzilla. I am looking for a cam with good street manners, that will pass emissions and good low end grunt. I have r been reading a lot about Anderson B-31, the good ol B303 and E303 cams but I am open to suggestions. I haven’t selected or purchased heads yet, so that is one outlier. Fuel system will consist of 42lb injectors and 255lph fuel pump, with a sct MAF.

Bottom end will remain stock for the Time as my goal is only around 350hp

Works well with blower? Passes emissions?

Yes, plays well with all of the above.
In the same breath, B cam does sound horny out the tail pipes though.

It sure does, but from my research is hit or miss on the emissions side

I also have a line on a lightly used B303

With tweaking, in a 5.0 with cats, easy to even get a B cam to pass. While it's a good old camshaft, do yourself a solid n go with the TFS. Don't forget a fresh set of FMS roller lifters + timing chain set.

I was planning on new roller lifters, roller rockers and timing chain

I was looking at buying a Remanufactured cobra longblock with gt40 heads. Would be around $3000.

^If you don’t need one that’s a lot of money you don’t need to spend, Gt40 heads are okay, but your stockers with a good cam and KB will get you to your power goals.

I’d go b-cam if it was me, TVs is a great choice, but something about telling people “it’s got a b-cam” seems right, lol.
