Yes, the chrome really pops on the darker colours. Here is a pic after the first wash.

Great looking new Rig. Love the colour, my old Ram was Mineral Grey (predecessor to Granite) and it was a joy, kinda regret ordering Black Crystal on my Sport (not really but regret the upkeep for sure).

FWIW my buddies at FCA say the latest version of the EcoD is the most robust. Is it your first diesel or have you owned one before? Make sure you stay on top of the diesel specific maintenance like checking and replacing the fuel filters more often and draining the water separator and adhere to MOPARS revised oil specs (sorry if you know all this already).

Max Steel has the multi color metallic in it I believe where as Granite is a standard metallic. Generally Max Steel will have more of a blue hue and Granite will have more of a brown/gray hue.

Here is a better pic of the maximum Steele paint, when polished up

    Beautiful truck.
I thin k mine is a tad darker than yours, it almost looks like a matt finish up close.

Yes this is my first diesel, but my boss owns one of the earlier models (2014 I think) with almost 200,000 km's without any issues so far.
As for the maintenance I know nothing about maintaining a diesel, but I have the mechanic that looks after my company's fleet and he is great so I shouldn't have any problems there.
I am really liking the fuel economy, put 790 km's on it on the first tank of diesel, with an average of 11.4L/100km's. The best I did on my Hemi was 14.3 I think.
