    Painting aluminum hood

This might be a dumb question, but can a aluminum hood be repainted without issue if it is in mint condition. I have heard once the aluminum corrodes and bubbles its not worth fixing but best to just replace the entire hood. I want to know if a mint aluminum hood can be repainted a different colour fine? Im guessing yah why not as long as its not corroded also.

there is absolutely no issue with repairing and repainting am Aluminum Hood that had corroded at the front edge.. My 2005 BLACK had actual small holes shop did an excellent repair.... and paint to it. . mind you they guaranteed it 50 minutes or 5 miles....but I KNOW it will be good for 5 years
