Newer Rams have taken changing the oil filter to a whole new level of pain in the ass.

I heard the GT350 is no pleasure to remove the oil filter.

Took the wife's buggy up for a wash at the auto club this morning. Brought the usual supplies though didn't have to. They supply everything you need from soap, pails with grit guards and even a decent foam cannon. Was awesome...for $2....

Done at home for me on the driveway. I get to take my time, let the oil drain longer, check other areas, and then install the oil and filter brands (I like OEM) of my choices.

It can take an entire afternoon to do an oil change that way.

Fusion daily driver - Ford Dealer (Quick Lane) about $55

Jeep daily driver - Dodge Dealer about $55

Shelby GT500 - my garage on ramps, Motorcraft 5W50 full synthetic and Ford Racing Filter - about $80

1978 MGB - my garage on ramps, Valvoline 20W50 VR1 with zinc and Purolator One Filter - about $45

I always put them on the ramps with the engine warm and let them drain/drip over night.
