What colour should I powder coat my power steering bracket and alternator bracket?

What are the reasons for the colour options?

It's a bracket, not something I think you need to highlight, so yellow and chrome are out.

Black gets my vote. Can I suggest that you deburr any bumps or flashing on the part first. It will show through after powdercoating and will look less appealing.

That was my plan. I was considering polishing it but I feel it will be a nightmare to keep clean.

I am open to other options also. I have no reason, I just want it to look clean

I’d just clean it good and spay it with dark grey or flat-black, I wasn’t sure if maybe you had those other colours elsewhere on the car.
If it was me I’d probably take it to the wire wheel and leave it as-cast, paint can chip, scratch, peel, etc....

Grey hammer tone would be a nice option.
