    Gearing for a 2000 GT 5spd

Car is basically stock with a tune..5pd...3.73 or 4.10? Sunny day only car with only some hwy, mostly for cruising. Will 4.10 be too much?

I've always heard people with 4.10s say that first gear was pretty much useless. My choice would be the 3.73s.

4:10s NA were/are awesome on my 05 (also has 3650 trans)
If you were to do a lot of highway and wanted to drive above 120 drop down to the 3.73

I dunno if those people ever drove one. My Supercharged 2000 GT with 4.10s is fine. I personally wouldn't go less in a 2v. When I was N/A I was kicking myself for not going 4.30, except the 2-3 time I went on the highway a year.

I had installed 3.73 gears in my n/a 2000Gt 5-speed and was honestly a little underwhelmed on how little the difference was from my stock 3.27 gears. If staying n/a then I would definitely recommend a 4.10 gearset as 2v motors need gear to get up and go.

    Difference between 373 & 410 is 100 RPM ! not worth dropping down !

Can't deny the fun factor of 410s, just makes 1st a lil short is all.
