You can't call over a million people idiots without knowing each of them. If you work for the government and think your job will be on the line - it makes sense to vote liberal, self-preservation isn't being stupid for example. I don't hate the liberal philosophy despite all the ranting and raging online (I am very left leaning to be honest but always voted PC, I would have also voted for Trump if I was American but traditional conservative values don't really align with my own).

What I despise is the liberal party is turning into neo-liberals, or progressive liberalism which is very bad. NDP have always been far-left and socialist borrowing from Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Which if you're in the working class the NDP is like drinking poison for your financial health and well-being.

I mean history could repeat itself with dangerous parties like the NDP. The Kulacks (spell?) in Russia for example... The middle class and rich here could be targeted as the farmers were before in the "class wars" of the early 1900's and to me that's what the NDP represents, a war on the middle class and the rich. Taking the wealthy farmers out of the equation caused millions to die of starvation. Taking away from the business owners and the wealthy here will have similar effects, there won't be any money to give away - no more jobs. Rich people can afford to GTFO of Ontario.

Either way, I'm glad Ontario did the right thing and avoided a socialist government itching to give away everything we've earned. I just hope Ford doesn't let us down but he has a solid team behind him and that's what really counts. Now we can move on to our normally scheduled bitching about the stupid government from time to time and work on our cars and avoid "stunt driving" tickets Cheers!

    Self preservation aside:

To knowingly vote for the very people responsible for Ornge, E-Health, Gas plants, Hydro selloffs and on and on the list goes is just plain idiotic in my eyes.

Maybe I was harsh with the 1,103,283 idiots number but only if we assume they are all out to save their jobs.

If they did not vote for self preservation reasons I stand behind my original statement. Idiots they are!

Now to put some fresh gasoline in my car!

    Drive on.

Best turnout ever (edit: since the turn of the millennium). I'd say that's pretty good.
I've never seen lines like that at the poling station.
