    I’ve been using turtle wax bug and tar remover as I wash the car, it seems to work, but this bug sponge looks like it might do the trick. I admit I was worried it would scratch my black finish, but the description specifically says it won’t scratch black paint, lol.

    It gets soft when you put it in water, if you used it dry it may scratch but it's pretty neat and works very well

    I too have used the Turtle Wax Bug & Tar remover and it works great and cleans up nice.
