    Enjoying the summer this year?

Gotta say, Kudos to mother nature so far. This has been very good beer drinking back yard pool weather.

    Summer so far:
    • cottage weekends have been fantastic!
    • basement renovations are hectic
    • not having the Mustang on the road....sad

'loft' is full of all the basement junk, LOL. Mustang is on the ground in the garage ...surrounded by more basement junk.
It only needs a few minor things done to it, but just haven't had any time or motivation to tackle them. My one-track brain only works on one project at a time. And the basement is using up about 98% of it.

the other 2% is being killed by beer

Been nice but do we ever need rain, at least in the Oakville to Hamilton area. I work for a landscaper (think parks, stormwater ponds, new development grading and sodding) and our water truck is running 12 hour days to try and keep up. And not thunderstorm rain, good long day long gentle rain to allow it to soak in.

Also, going to the cottage in another week, need rain to lift the fire ban so that I can burn a whole lot of crap lying around.

Not at all. Not many storms, and what we've had I've missed due to work.

I was contemplating on washing mine.. but the truck needs a hand wash. So a dirty fox will be cruising tonight.

Edit: a dirty, leaky fox.. damn drain plug has started a leak.. just changed the oil too

When I had my landscaping done in 2010, we didn't lay the sod until after labour day. Keeping new grass hydrated in July/ August is almost impossible
