    Air bag light

Hey everyone, I just recently bought an 01 Gt with an aftermarket MOMO steering wheel. Since the factory air bag was removed the dash light is on. Anyone know how to get that light to go out without putting an airbag in? I'd like for the passenger airbag to remain functional. Look forward to hearing from you guys!

Unless complete system is intact and in working condition, pass side will not work.

Electrical tape over the light. Or just live with the light.

Car will not pass safety with the light on, a cool wheel isn’t worth risking your life imo.

Several years in towing and being first on scene of some insane wrecks has me supporting air bags to da max.

I agree but that depends on a lot of factors, at the end of the day I’d rather have an airbag or several for that matter.

I have to agree with ponyryd....removing any safety equipment for something to look cool is not worth it at all.

I know what you guys are saying.. but plenty of people are driving classic cars that didn’t come with airbags to begin with

Yes they are, myself included, however I wouldn’t remove an important safety item from my car in the name of style.....
